- Abstract
ITIL framework is the most used framework to setup IT services. It is applied successfully by IT service providers to offer good services and to organize the staff and the portfolio. There are several aspects which can be adapted to the GLAM to define a good services and good relationships.
- Detailed proposal
In my life I am also an expert of IT governance. Certified in ITIL and in Cobit.

Working with ITIL and Cobit and with GLAMs I tried to apply the best practices of those two frameworks to the GLAM considering GLAM as an IT service.
ITIL is the most popular standard in the IT Service Management market. It offers a systematic and scientific approach to the management of IT based services using a set of best practices. With the adoption of ITIL, companies are supplied with significant benefits, such as: reduction of operating costs, improvement in procedures and IT services, improvement in customer service and productivity improvement in IT.
In this presentation there is a first approach of the adaptation of ITIL to GLAM projects.
